We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Quality Engineer.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality requirements for PCB and repair processes
• Collect, analyze, and interpret quality and process data to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform special testing, process capability studies, and measurement system / repeatability studies
• Support preparation and maintenance of inspection instructions and procedures for mechanical and cosmetic criteria
• Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI), including process readiness, quality planning, and training
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement product and process improvements
• Participate in continuous improvement activities (root cause analysis, corrective actions, preventive actions)
• Recommend process and/or design improvements, including:
  • Failure analysis methods
  • Corrective action recommendations
  • Material and component analysis
• Support compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality system requirements
• Assist in meeting departmental goals and objectives as defined by the Quality Manager or Director
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills, Education and Training

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an electronics manufacturing quality role (PCB/repair experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of inspection and analysis tools and methods (preferably in a computerized environment)
• Experience with data analysis, basic statistics, and intermediate Excel skills
• Proven problem-solving experience using structured methodologies
• Proficient English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Preferred certifications: Certified six sigma green belt, CQE
• Preferred training and certifications: IPC-610, IPC7711/7721
