We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Test Engineer Technician 1.

Role and Responsibilities

• Investigates and approves or denies diagnostic skip requests
• Troubleshoots diagnostic BIOS/software configuration issues
• Downloads drivers and BIOS updates as needed
• Performs test line maintenance
• Sets up and/or tears down test lines, including but not limited to power, network, foam, cables, etc.
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• May perform other duties as assigned

Skills, Education and Training

• Associates degree in relevant field or course work equivalent towards B.S. in engineering/related field preferred
• 1 year or more experience within relevant field
• Basic troubleshooting and diagnostics skills
• Computer skills: BIOS configuration, driver installation, software configuration
• Email and written messaging with basic Excel knowledge
• Proficient English abilities required
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with general supervision

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
• Use of small hand tools
• Frequent standing, walking and sitting
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
